A humble Charles Wish standing next to one of his paintings at
Copro Nason Galley at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, Ca. February 4th. Wish sold his painting for $5,000 before the show even opened. It was bought the owners of the Key Club on the Sunset Strip.

You can see for yourself Wish is extremely talented and has be drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I myself have a Charles Wish piece hanging in my studio behind my desk. A photography themed piece done in Prisma Color pencil, he spent over 800 hours creating an amazing piece of art that I feel extremely fortunate to own.

His studio is very close to mine so I drop in and watch him paint from time to time. This is an image I saw while photographing Charles at work. I stopped by with my camera's after the Dutton Bookstore shoot and snapped a few pictures.

The image below is Wish at work on a new piece, as he works on the shading in the background. With a little Photoshop magic, I created my own piece of art. The image is signed by "Dreamer" that's me of course, I like to paint under my alter ego name, Joe Dreamer.
